About The Arts Society Cambridge

TAS Cambridge is a member society of The Arts Society, formerly the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS) which has over 90,000 members worldwide.

Your membership entitles you to:

● In person attendance at nine lectures from on select Thursday mornings from October through to June, including coffee and biscuits before each lecture. Our lectures are held in the modern and comfotable Wolfson Lecture Hall at Churchill College, Cambridge. Click HERE to view a college map

● Our lectures are also available to view by Zoom at the same time as our in person sessions. Zoom links are sent out by email approximately two days before lecture dates.

● A monthly email Newsletter from TAS Cambridge with details of upcoming lectures and visits

● The opportunity to go on organized visits and one trip away (at additional cost)

● Attendance at 2 Special Interest Days per season (at additional cost)

● The opportunity to join the Arts Volunteers or the Heritage Volunteers groups we have.

● A subscription to: The Arts Society Magazine. This beautiful publication is published a three times annually and is posted directly to you. The magazine includes information on Area and National lectures, Special Interest Days and Exhibitions. 

● A monthly newsletter emailed from The Arts Society Head Office.

A formal printed programme card will also be available for collection at our first lecture in October.

If you, instead, would like the programme mailed to you, please mail a STAMPED SELF-ADDRESSED ENVELOPE (minimum size 110 X220 mm, DL size)

Joining The Arts Society Cambridge:

The annual subscription cost for 2025-2026 is £55 per person or £110 per couple.

If you have not quite made up your mind about joining us, you are very welcome to come to three lectures a year as the guest of a current member. The member should notify the Membership Secretary about the guest at least two days before the lecture. We ask for a modest donation of £7, which may be given to the Membership Secretary on the day.

Our Society currently has no waiting list, so if you are interested in becoming a member, you are very welcome to join us. You can contact the Membership Secretary, Mary Painter, by email on membership.tascambridge@gmail.com
